Ndoot like the ones in the mall I tried a royale straightener at the mall and it was awesome. So i went online and bought this one thinking it would be even better since i could do it with damp hair. Well let me tell you it doesn’t work! In fact it made my hair even more frizzy. Not only that but it has these ridges on the so called ceramic blades that my hair got stuck in and would rip out my hair. The ceramic blades didn’t feel or look like they did at the mall. They felt like a cheep knock off.

Amazon Customer says:

Straightens hair but feels like it’s going to fall apart. I’ve had this product a couple of weeks and used it less than 5 times. Perhaps due to the brand and other reviews I’d read, my expectations may have been a bit on the high side- however, it feels flimsy. My hair looks beautifully straight as it claims it will but I cant help feeling like the dang thing is going to fall apart when i’m using it. The plates on my unit have a slight ‘scissor’ effect making me worry more about the sturdiness of the unit than the look of my hair. This said, the end result has been great (unless you want a slight curl at the end – this unit does not have the curved sides for that) but my unit itself feels like it’s ready to fall apart like a cheap hairclip. Note: experience reported is on dry hair only, in small portions. I have NOT tried it on wet hair.

Just so-so This flat iron is not really that good when used with your hair wet. My hair is thick and it left it frizzy and not smooth at all. I’m going to stick with my CHI flat iron. If you use it on dry hair it’s ok, just not as smooth and silky as with the CHI.
